Innovative Surfaces is a Portland based process using proprietary ingredients that were developed thirty years ago in England. It is now used by Innovative Surfaces for its countertops and fireplace surrounds in a new and innovative way.

Innovative Surfaces countertops are made in a monolithic fashion to produce a lightweight product, even lighter than standard granite counter tops. They have flexibility, yet retain incredible strength, virtually eliminating cracks and other problems associated with precast or poured-in-place countertop and concrete products.
 
Our fireplace surrounds and mantles utilize the same product principles similar to our counter tops. Our mantles and surrounds have the appearance of precast or carved stone, but have a hollow core, allowing for a lightweight piece. With a simple installation method, most homeowners can do it themselves, without any special equipment.
